The Wildmans is a family band featuring the talents of siblings Eli and Aila Wildman on mandolin, fiddle and vocals, with young banjo phenomemon Victor Furtado, and backed up by bandmom Deb Wildman on bass. Highly skilled instrumentals and soulful vocals applied to traditional bluegrass tunes with a smattering of old time, blues, and jazz combine to create a fresh new sound - old tunes fueled by young spirit. The group is based in Floyd, Virginia, a town famous for its’ old time and bluegrass music heritage, with a weekly Friday night jamboree that has been active for over 75 years. Performing regionally since 2011, these kids have developed a set and a presence that pleases the crowd every time they take the stage.
