Entrance to Brown’s Island is through the 5th Street entrance ONLY. FAST PASS: A fast pass allows the holder to enter through the 7th Street bridge and cut any line that may have formed at the main entrance. Each fast pass is good for (1) ticket holder to cut the line. DRAFT BEER & CANNED COCKTAILS:Draft Beer and Canned Cocktails will be available for purchase. Both paid and free public parking are available along 5th Street, at the American Civil War Museum and at the Belle Isle parking lot near Brown’s Island Way. Bike racks are also located along Tredegar Street near 5th Street and also at the vehicular bridge on the western end of the island nearest historic Tredegar. No tents, staking, or canopies allowed. Chairs and small, personal umbrellas are permitted in case of rain. No backpacks allowed. You may NOT bring in any outside food or beverages. One un-opened bottle of water per ticket is allowed. Absolutely no gathering outside of the venue to watch the show. Alcohol may not be brought into the event. Absolutely no illegal substances, illicit goods, fireworks, weapons, guns, knives or laser pointers will be permitted at the event and violators will be held accountable and prosecuted by state and federal law. KIDS AGE 12 AND YOUNGER ATTEND FOR FREE!In light of the devastating fire at Fox Elementary School, a coalition of local musicians and community partners have come together for a Benefit Concert for RPS elementary school music programs on Saturday, March 5th at The Broadberry. Many members of our RVA music community live in the Fan; some within blocks of the school that just burned down. We feel compelled to give back and offer support during this tender time. The fire was a tragedy, but, many schools in RPS are already wiped out – without a fire having to do it for them. Let’s take this moment of goodwill, born from a tragedy, and spread it around to all elementary schools in RPS. In partnership with The Broadberry, the Fox PTA, JAMInc, and local musicians, we’ll use a sliding scale for concert tickets (starting at $20) and will donate 100% of proceeds directly to the RPS Education Foundation to purchase musical instruments for elementary schools. https://jaminc.org/For this event, The Broadberry requires ALL ADULTS AGE 18 AND OVER to show proof of complete COVID-19 vaccination OR a negative COVID-19 test result to attend this show.
