Bruce Weldy*

With well over 150 years of professional playing experience, the members of Arm's Length have come together to assemble a tight-knit group exploring several styles of music - with the underlying theme that all the music should be within "Arm's Length" of the blues.

Jack Williamson - Influenced by bands like The Allman Brothers, ZZ Top, and Yes in the 70s to artists like Pat Metheny and Robben Ford as his musical tastes and talents grew, he has lent his hand to a variety of bands over the years with the amazing rhythm chops and tasty lead playing.

Earl Leaverton - MI/BIT graduate on bass guitar, Earl has played with several bands in the area over the last few decades laying down rock-solid grooves with a sound that only comes from the hands of a pro.

John Thiem - Played everything from Rock to Jazz to Country - and all equally well. This guy is a drummer's drummer.

Bruce Weldy - Carries equipment like a seasoned roadie. Once played through an entire song without a mistake. His presence in any band makes everyone else look better. Yet somehow has been able to keep this up for decades.
